New NotifySync v4.7 for BlackBerry is now available

SAN JOSE, CA – December 14, 2009 – Notify Technology Corporation (OTC BB NTFY), today announced the availability of NotifySync™ 4.7 for BlackBerry® which now supports Microsoft’s Version 2.5, 12.0 and 12.1 ActiveSync protocol technology. The new version adds over 30 new features to the initial NotifySync product which was released a year ago. The NotifySync product is targeted at providing BlackBerry users a simple direct connect solution that provides wireless push email, calendar, contacts and task synchronization to those email platforms who offer the ActiveSync protocol technology as their primary mobility interface.

Today companies like Axigen, Kerio, Zimbra, Scalix, CommuniGate, IceWarp, FirstClass, Ipswitch, Google, Open-Xchange, Zarafa, and Microsoft all support the ActiveSync interface in their email products. The NotifySync product is a downloadable application client which provides BlackBerry users with a new email box while interfacing to the native BlackBerry calendar, address book and task applications. The NotifySync product is simple to provision as it requires the basic information any ActiveSync mobile device requires today. The NotifySync product does not require the use of any middleware since it directly communicates with the email platform’s ActiveSync interface. NotifySync:

NotifySync™ has been developed by Notify Technology to enable BlackBerry handsets to synchronize mail folders, contacts, appointments and taks directly with Microsoft Exchange, Kerio, CommunigatePro or Zimbra mail servers using the ActiveSync protocol "Over the Air" without wires.

Many organizations have asked for a BlackBerry(1) email and PIM (calendar, contacts, and tasks) wireless mobility solution that directly connects to their email platform but does not require any middleware server or software. The NotifySync solution provides organizations of all sizes secure, real-time, wireless synchronization of email and PIM to and from any BlackBerry. NotifySync(2) provides direct connect support to several email platforms namely CommuniGate Pro, Microsoft Exchange, Kerio Messaging Server, and the Zimbra Collaboration Suite. The NotifySync solution utilizes a "direct push" or "scheduled push" connection when connecting any BlackBerry to the user’s email platform. With NotifySync all email, calendar, contact, and task information will be stored safely behind an organization's firewall while all data-in-motion is encrypted utilizing SSL. Should a user lose their BlackBerry, a remote wipe can be initiated to ensure all information on their BlackBerry is erased.
