SAN JOSE, CA – December 14, 2009 – Notify Technology Corporation (OTC BB NTFY), today announced the availability of NotifySync™ 4.7 for BlackBerry® which now supports Microsoft’s Version 2.5, 12.0 and 12.1 ActiveSync protocol technology. The new version adds over 30 new features to the initial NotifySync product which was released a year ago. The NotifySync product is targeted at providing BlackBerry users a simple direct connect solution that provides wireless push email, calendar, contacts and task synchronization to those email platforms who offer the ActiveSync protocol technology as their primary mobility interface.
Today companies like Axigen, Kerio, Zimbra, Scalix, CommuniGate, IceWarp, FirstClass, Ipswitch, Google, Open-Xchange, Zarafa, and Microsoft all support the ActiveSync interface in their email products. The NotifySync product is a downloadable application client which provides BlackBerry users with a new email box while interfacing to the native BlackBerry calendar, address book and task applications. The NotifySync product is simple to provision as it requires the basic information any ActiveSync mobile device requires today. The NotifySync product does not require the use of any middleware since it directly communicates with the email platform’s ActiveSync interface. NotifySync supports all commercial cellular data networks, as well as all 802.11x Wi-Fi networks.
